I am a Digital Media & Video Content Strategist, Producer & Director of Photography for engagement communications. I specialize in short-form advocacy, advertising, targeted video as well as documentaries & docu-series. I am about amplifying social good content across the digital landscape. I collaborate with digital media and communication teams, companies, organizations, corporations, agencies, institutes, think tanks & foundations that serve as a catalyst for progressive technological, social & political change.
I recently finished working for a 15 month stretch on the national digital video team for President Obama’s re-election campaign 2012. It was an honor to film President Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, First Lady Michelle Obama, and Dr. Biden. I traveled heavily through the US; filming and interviewing celebrities, everyday Americans & documenting countless political rallies. The campaign's digital video team's channel; http://www.youtube.com/user/BarackObamadotcom earned 288 million views.
Prior to working on the President's campaign; I freelanced for a decade behind the camera in broadcast, film & media markets for a myriad of syndicated networks including BBC, PBS, BRAVO, NBC, CBS, BBC, TLC, SUNDANCE, BET, LOGO, CW, VH1, MTV, IFC as well as for numerous clients, production companies and agencies. I shot an award-winning documentary,‘Off the Grid: Life on the Mesa’ which sold to Sundance and Variety praise the film’s “stunning look”. I shot and produced a series of commercials that won two Telly Awards, and was Director of Photography on a 1/2 million dollar narrative film which sold to Fox Distribution.
I currently work on digital media production teams, and I am the founder of Ecodeo; a start-up that creates video content for the public and private sector in order to amplify sustainable markets and environmentally sustainable policies.
